In 2023, what used to be called polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) was renamed polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome, or PMOS. Up to 20% of women suffer from PMOS but it’s estimated that as many as 70% of cases worldwide remain undiagnosed. And PMOS is the most common cause of female-associated problems with infertility. So if you have been diagnosed with it, you have lots of company.
